MY CREATIVE MESS!
So my newest project had started as quite a mess of paverpol!  But this stuff is so versatile that that if use your imagination anything is possible! So  what started out as a spill has progressed into a nice canvas that Im going to repeat again and again!
At this point everything was black and i still wasn't sure about it.

So here I started with gold highlights.

And here i added in some tealish metalic highlights. This is when I realized that i really loved what the highlights had done for this project...and  this is the time it usually happens. Dry brushing can really bring a project to life!

SUMMER PROJECTS IN PAVERPOL

I have done up to dressing my Artist but still to add hair, scarf or tie not so sure yet, paint brush and paint pallet. He's coming along!

This just gave me an idea!

My 'little china girl' still needs hair as well and maybe a teapot in her hand..we'll see. Face and maybe feet as well to be added.

And this guys been hanging around for a bit..waiting for the perfect branch to set him up on still, ah winters almost done, isnt it?

This is the first 'on my own' invented Paverpol animal. Started with styrofoam and wire.

I am so excited ! While searching the our Paverpol site, I have run into an old fried from highschool. She is also a certified Paverpol teacher in the Etobicoke area! So we've reconnected and have gotten together to paverpol, to get supplies and to generally have a good laugh! I am inspired by her visions and hope she finds the same in mine! Either way its wonderful to have someone so close to my heart back in touch and living close and doing similar crafty things! so here's some thing I'm working on.

I started Sat. morning with this little painting....for no reason in mined. When done, I thought of doing an artist with Pavorpol to go along with this!

This is the beginning of my 'little china girl'. And 'pepper gets a friend(my bird)! Foil and taped.

At this stage I'm covering my shape in foil, taping loose ends.

I was finally able to download some pics to show the process.
#1. It starts with an armature of wire, steel and or wood.

#2. Cover your wire/ wood /steel with foil and tape if bits are loose. Shaping as you go. Paverpol wrappers are used to cover hole shaped figure before dressing.
#3. Paint with PAVERPOL  in black. Dress with tshirt(old), or anything cotton, and or Paverpol fiber materials.

#4. Paint with Paverpol acrylics(or your own acrylic paints),  and rubs to give it a copper hammered look and in my case purple clothing ontop of highlighted copper rubs. Let dry and your done. If putting outside I would ad a high grade varnish such as Paverpol varnishes or  a good store bought for extra protection for our Canadian winters!
