I was finally able to download some pics to show the process.
#1. It starts with an armature of wire, steel and or wood.

#2. Cover your wire/ wood /steel with foil and tape if bits are loose. Shaping as you go. Paverpol wrappers are used to cover hole shaped figure before dressing.
#3. Paint with PAVERPOL  in black. Dress with tshirt(old), or anything cotton, and or Paverpol fiber materials.

#4. Paint with Paverpol acrylics(or your own acrylic paints),  and rubs to give it a copper hammered look and in my case purple clothing ontop of highlighted copper rubs. Let dry and your done. If putting outside I would ad a high grade varnish such as Paverpol varnishes or  a good store bought for extra protection for our Canadian winters!

I am really looking forward to meeting Carol on one of my trips down her way!

PAVERPOL in the MARITIMES...
On PEI, The Birthplace of Confederation,  2014 is a very special year of celebrations and a lot is happening all around; besides the history of what happened in 1864, Arts and Culture are on top of the agenda.

Carol Karr McQuaid from Crow's Gate Studio in Summerside (pei) participated in the Arts project "Lighthouse 2014" to decorate a model lighthouse.

My New Adventures in Paverpol!

So this was the start of the scarf lady I did in class.

And this is how they turned out! What a fun class that was! I think we laughed the whole time!
So starting some new statues and have a few starting pics for everyone to see what I am doing. So below are my first attempts at doing this art form alone.

Had something in my head so this is first try at a sheep!

This will be the base for my sheep!

And first try at Mother  & Child again the base only

So this was my idea and it looks like it just may work! Not finished quite yet.

Again this is a little farther along, and it is nice to have a couple on the go..it just means they take longer but you finish all at once! So more to come!

I will get dried pic up here > dried the grey material is very black and the face is gold, actually was one of the funnest and easy was to start, i think.
Okay so one by one I am adding pictures! This is my latest project. It is done with paverpol and artstone. The piece will look like a sculpture  with moss growing on it and will be mounted on cement block and put in garden when it is done. This is at Cameron Studios.

Paverpol - and my new adventure!

So seen this product last november and had sort of put it on the back burner to do other things. Wrong idea! But i did come to my senses and for last couple months I have been mucking around with it and loving it ! So seting up some pictures to look at. Keep in minds these sculptures are weather safe , so perfect for gardens as well as indoors ! Stay tuned!

Summer is here! Or so I think, hot, humid and hazzy, yup we have it all. Cottage is coming along nicely, plants are amazing, kudos to the previous gardener. Brought up a ton of plants, and then brought half home because over a span of 9 days things just appeared in my garden. It was wonderful! Have been trying to keep up with crafts and canvas is mostly what i seem to be doing.

Need help with this one! Any ideas for 'words'?

Had fly free on this and my daughter didn't like it. I agrreed with her the writing was actually to heavy for the pic, so I may go back with same only lighter.

Card or tag experiment!
